Arriving to Saas-Fee

Train passengers travel through Brig to Visp and take the Postauto with the sign "Saas-Fee". Every hour there are connections until about 8.15 pm from Brig and 7.29 pm from Visp, on Fridays 8.29 pm. Why not hand your luggage on departure at the trainstation and pick it up at the Saas-Fee Postauto station.

Coming by car from the North over Bern through the Lötschberg (on a train shuttle) or from the West on the highway passing by Vevey, Martigny and Sierre, from the East over the Oberalppass (also on a shuttle train during the Winter by reservation only) and the Furka Pass (again on a shuttle train). From the South over and through the Simplon Pass or Tunnel.

Parking Receipt / Tourist Card

Saas-Fee is a car-free comunity. You leave your car in the Parking at the entrance of the village. With an elektrotaxi you will be picked up and taken to the hotel with your bags. From that moment on you enjoy your holiday without a car. Ask the hotel how to handle your luggage before arrival.

The Tourist Card will allow you to have a discount from the 2nd day of your stay. Ask for it at the hotel upon arrival, you will be able to get various discounts at different locations in the village. You can find all the information about it in the newsletter "Gletscher - Post".
