The Artemis Hotel Garni (a traditional Swiss definition of a good hotel with no dining room and only serving breakfast) has a personable homey feeling. It was built in 1992 and continuously owned and run by Ambros and Josy Bumann until it was sold in 2010 to international hotelier Peter Wirth. After a carreer in hotels in Rome (Hassler Hotel), San Miguel de Allende (Casa De Sierra Nevada) and New York (Waldorf=Astoria), he came back to his home country to settle down. His credo is : "mi casa es su casa"....

The Artemis Hotel is very central, 5 minutes from the parking house and 8 minutes from the Alpin - Express cablecar with the hotels own ski-room across from the station.

The friendly Empfang, reception, a look at the bright tastefully decorated room... and your soul feels freer, a holiday spirit comes alive. The family run Hotel-Garni welcomes you in a very warm and unique way. The atmosphere is so warm, as it can only be in a personally run environment.

Small touches without a big splash ! In order to start the day on a happy note we take special care to prepare a rich breakfast buffet. The breakfast room has a view over the majestic mountains and often is lighten up with a strong sunshine which makes everyones day brighter.
